In Yardbook, admin users can create custom forms/checklists and ask their team members to complete them when they are on a job site. A checklist can be used as a guide to help your employee through a series of required tasks.

Based on user feedback, we have extended this feature so it will work independently from jobs. This gives you the flexibility to use the feature in many other scenarios. For example, you can create a morning checklist and an end-of-day checklist for all your employees. You can also create checklists for specific internal tasks which are not linked to any jobs.

For Admin Users

You can now add a “Custom Forms” item to your left side menu by going to the Account Settings Page (near the bottom).

When you open the “Custom Forms” page, you will see all the completed form submissions from all of your users.

You can also create a new custom form by clicking on the “Add/Modify Custom Forms” link.

To fill out a form or checklist, click on the “Fill out a Form” link.

Limited Access Users

For limited access users who don’t have admin permissions, they will have a “Custom Forms” button on their menu bar by default. When they click on this item, they will have the option to fill out a form.

Limited access users will have the following restrictions:

  • Only view form submissions created by themselves
  • Only modify submissions created my themselves
  • Cannot delete form submissions
