Give Employees Access to Text Messages

Text messaging is a very convenient way for customers to communicate with you and your team. Yardbook provides a text messaging feature as part of the premium plan.

If you have employees who are using Yardbook with limited access, you can now give them the ability to send text messages from the Job Details Page, and view text history. This can be configured using the Advanced Access Control feature.

First, navigate to the Advanced Access Control Page for the employee, and grant them the following controls:

• 1297 – Send Text From Job Page
• 1301 – View Customer Text History

Remember to click the “Save” Button.

The next time this employee opens the Job Details Page, they will have an option to send text messages to the customer.

This link will bring them to the Send Text Message View.

From this page, they can also click on the “View Messages” link to view customer text history, and check for new incoming messages from this customer.
