Mobile Web App

For a complete set of features, you can use Yardbook directly through the mobile browser. Yardbook pages are designed specifically to be responsive to mobile screens and will automatically change their layouts based on your screen dimensions. Here are a few screenshots from our web app. Many of our admin users use this version on their mobile phones in order to access all the features they need.

GPS Location Tracking

If you have enabled GPS Location tracking, every time your employee clocks in or clocks out, their Geolocation will be saved. 

The first time they use this feature, their browser will display the following message: 

“Yardbook wants to know your device’s location”

If your user clicks yes, then it will start gathering locations. When location is gathered through a browser, you will also see the details in the description section. (Ex. Browser Location Accuracy: 15 meters). This is helpful when you need to determine the accuracy of each logged location.
